This app works. I am not sure where all the complaints come from. It counts laps, yards/meters, shows heart rate in one place. The new redesign on AW is just perfect. Especially the color coding. The stats on phone seems to be a little “cluttered” but still show all that is needed. This review comes from a guy with over 40 years of experience swimming. To developers, keep up the great work. Thanks!

This app is my ‘go to’ swim logging and analysis app. I have used several independent apps for tracking and analysis, in addition to device specific iPhone apps. The highlights include: - Excellent, detailed view and presentation of activity analysis broken down by intervals, or lengths. - Allows correction of incorrect lap counts and details made by devices. Although requiring some mathematical calculations of time to make correct adjustments. - A good, simple, and clear interface, allowing quick access to ‘You[r]’ previous activities. Presenting a good basic summary, separate from coaching and promotional posts. - Good integration, logging activities from all devices. - The Apple Watch app is one of the best fit-for-purpose swimming apps, along with the Apple fitness app. Although, this is not my primary training device. I haven’t used the ‘Coach[ed]’ activities, a lot. However, the collection of activities that can be sent to your device is decent. It could allow more functionality in searching and finding activities. This app doesn’t charge a prohibitively excessive annual subscription fee. The downsides: the app has no iPad interface, and there is no browser interface for browser analysis. Nb: the app collects a lot of personal data, although necessary to support the functionality, I’m not sure how much this is used outside of the personal analytics functionality.

Hi, I am a happy user and embassador of your app (*****). However, I recently changed my Galaxy watch (#5 now), and there is no gear anymore. When I slide left to set the "last lap" metrics view, the app comes back to the main view during the swim, showing again the whole workout metrics. Can you fix that? As long as there is no gear, it is really uncomfortable to exit the waterproof mode each and every time. I appreciate your continuous improvements, so I hope you can consider that. Thanks S.

I have and use both a Garmin and Suunto sports watches (and Strava), and my swim data transfer seamlessly to this app. The app gives nice and clear visual display of your swim statistics, and is very easy and intuitive to use. However, I should perhaps point out that I'm only a recreational swimmer, so my needs are definitely satisfied way sooner than some pro's.

For me the best feature is the automatic pause when I rest, because it’s so intelligent and I don’t need to press any buttons to tell my watch I’m taking a breather at the pool wall. This app does everything the native apple swim workout app does, including its big, red beating heart that tells you your heart rate. It measures lots of metrics, it allows you to select a preset workout, it’s the perfect pool companion!

Used today , I usually used the apple swimming app but this gives more detailed information plus I like the way it automatically pauses if you have to stop , just one thing to be aware of and that’s you need to give the app permission to access apple health once that’s done your swim data also appears in your apple activity .

Easy to use and manually add my yardage. I have a iWatch but can't figure out how to use it with this site When I click the Leaderboard, it only shows I've done 75yds so I'm obviously doing something wrong as my 3x per week swims are close to 7,500. I'm 67 yrs of age and since covid pandemic have been away from synchronized swimming so loving the pool again Not techi but at least I can manually enter my yardage Reported my pool as having changed names and it was quickly corrected! Thank you!

I’ve used a number of apps over the past few years and the increase in crashes made me look for something new. Swim.com has proved incredibly reliable and extremely accurate. I swim longer distances and having the confidence that not only will it track my swim, but not drain my Apple Watch battery or crash at the end of the swim if why it’s now it’s my go to swim app.

After using a few apps for my swimming this one is my absolute favourite by far. It gives me the data I want and also recognises the change in stroke when I’ve gone from Freestyle to Breaststroke. Honestly I don’t find any faults with this app thus far personally. Thank you for designing this app for us all guys 👍👍👍🏊‍♂️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♂️

After buy my Apple Watch I was looking for an app to swim in the pool that can count the laps, track my speed, understand the strokes, count the rest time in my trainings and then I found Swim.com, so I started to use it and since then I never leave it. I could see during this time (more than four years of use) how the app improves the accuracy of swim tracking, how they add things like smart workouts to be used the days you go to the pool to train alone, and now Open Water support... this app grew up a lot since the beginning. I participated in a couple of contests and could compete with a lot of people around the world that was awesome. I just waiting what else they will bring out from the hat like the magicians did, next time... and another thing... is free... just check it you won't regret

All I want is swim tracking. Strokes, rest times, number of laps and distance traveled. That's my old review. Latest upgrades, the graphics, the simplicity, well I can't give you 6 stars. I don't mind the adverts. This app has been free forever. And it's an important reason as to why I have a digital watch. Thank you.

Only complaint is there’s no option to NOT put in distance. Sometimes I just swim for “time” and don’t count the distance. App requires a multiple to place in the distance box. I just put in a random number and then in the notes I explain what I did on this particular training day. Other than that, app is easy to use and very useful, especially for me as a “returning swimmer”, so I can measure my progress. Cheers!

Bought myself a new Apple Watch to swim with. Wasn’t sure which app to download to use the watch to its best potential.. This was the first one I’d seen with best reviews. The app is great, simple to use and gives plenty of stats/ Info. Can even tell what stroke your doing. 5stars from me. Happy Swimming =]

I have been using this app for a long time on a lot of swims, and it still is my go-to app. My experience is based mostly on the Apple Watch Series 4 and more recently AW ultra. So lets talk positives: - Drill mode is great, and one of the main reasons to use this app. The native Apple Watch workout does not allow this. - Tracking of SWOLF, distance and splits works great. And in general the accuracy is good. It sometimes doesn’t stop in time, which adds a few additional seconds to a split, but ok. Also the stroke recognitions works well in 90% of the time. Only on sprints it thinks I do fly when I actually do crawl, I can forgive that, and you can fix it in the iPhone app - The app on the phone gives a nice overview of each swim, your best times and some other statistics, and allows to fix minor incorrect measurements. (The interface is a bit clunky though) There are a few minor negatives: - The screens & fields on the watch cannot be customized and are the same for 4 years already. Customizing would be great, especially with the larger screens being available now - The screen goes into water lock mode, which makes sense, but interaction requires to unlock the watch every single time, so button interactions would be great (action button!) - There have been periods of crashes with certain versions. Usually this is fixed quickly, but this can be annoying - The statistics provided on the phone app are basic, some more advanced training suggestion would be interesting to have added in the future (like type of training recommended, or maybe some analysis of the SWOLF score or stroke efficiency) - the workout section is not great. I almost never use it. Although it has been updated on the phone app, on the watch app is also quite unclear and not very good at guiding the swimmer through the sets/rest etc. - On my new AW ultra the screen no longer locks, which has messed with drills a couple of times due to the screen being interacted with by the water (could be a bug?) Suggestions: - Implement the action button on the AW ultra for starting and stopping drills (that would be amazing!) - Customizing the screens and data fields (hart rate zones, SWOLF, split pace etc.) - Further improve the workouts. On the watch the interface should be better at guiding the swimmer, what is expected and what is coming up in terms of sets/rest

The perfect app for swimming. The option to set custom pool lengths allows any swimmer to start tracking their stats. What I really appreciate most about swim dot com is the feature to set weekly monthly and even annual goals. And local leaderboards. With my watch it tracks everything you need from times, heart rate, lengths number. 1/100% of set target. and lots of other stats. I've tried lots of swimming applications. this is hands down the best.

I’ve used swim.com since I got back into swimming after a long break from the water. I tried a number of apps but swim.com was the only one that did what I needed - accurate swim tracking, intervals, and the ability to include drill sets in sessions. The workouts now added are great and cover a range of abilities and objectives specific to you. With open water swim tracking now added as well as manual cross training activities too, it’s my trusty swim companion.

All I want is swim tracking. Strokes, rest times, number of laps and distance traveled. Initially I was having trouble with accuracy. I had terrific response from the app developers. I needed to learn how to 'turn' to feed the accelerometer enough data. I'm now doing a exaggerated kick off the wall after each turn. Tracking accuracy is now great. Thanks
